What’s the difference between px and cm?

Pixels are screen units; centimeters are physical units used for printing. When using cm, the output size depends on DPI (dots per inch) assumptions in your workflow.

Can I keep the aspect ratio?

Yes. Enable “Maintain aspect ratio” and changing one dimension will scale the other automatically.

Will the tool change image quality?

Resizing may affect sharpness as with any editor. For best quality, downscale moderately and export as PNG or high-quality JPG.

Does the export keep EXIF metadata?

Exported images typically do not retain original EXIF metadata. Keep an original copy if you need it.
